Context

Enedis operates France’s public electricity distribution network, carrying out more than 11 million interventions a year with over 38,000 employees. Enedis called on IMPACT CONSULTANTS to find a robotics solution for interventions on the outdoor electrical network (20,000 V, 10 metres up).

Our response

• An operational innovation / project-management assignment (70% delivered in the workshop) aimed at building a demonstrator in real operating conditions.
• Sourcing and selection of the right build partners, benchmarking of equipment, internal and external cooperation with the client, full specification and continuous responsiveness.

Results

• The multifunction demonstrator was built, presented and deemed satisfactory - and qualified as a basis for pre-industrialisation.
• Integration into an internal innovation team and fruitful cooperation.
